To date, more than 3,200 schools (and 34,000 teachers) and 8,000 health facilities (and 67,000 health workers) have been sampled in 26 SDI surveys completed in 12 African countries, capturing the health and primary education service delivery experience of over 500 million people. The SDI initiative is now being scaled up globally. By 2021, the program will include additional countries from Africa, plus a growing number of countries in South Asia, East Asia/Pacific, Eastern Europe, and Latin America.
